The patent describes a robotic gripping system designed to improve the efficiency and flexibility of picking and placing storage boxes. The device includes a frame configured to be mounted on a robot’s end-effector, and multiple gripping units.

• At least one first gripping unit mounted on a first side of the frame, configured to grip the first side wall of a storage box.

• At least one second gripping unit mounted on a second side of the frame, configured to grip the second side wall of the storage box.

• Notably, the first and second sides of the frame, and the corresponding side walls of the storage box, are non-opposite sides, allowing the device to handle storage boxes with improved stability and precision.
