ABB Expands AI Infrastructure Collaboration with NVIDIA via DSX Blueprint Integration

Zurich, Switzerland – June 2, 2026 – ABB has deepened its partnership with NVIDIA by integrating its SimReady 3D digital assets into the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint, enhancing AI-driven infrastructure planning for data centers.
This integration allows data center operators to model, validate, and optimize power distribution before construction, while engineers can simultaneously verify electrical, thermal, and computational systems, streamlining the procurement of prefabricated modules.
The collaboration builds on the companies’ October 2025 support for 800 VDC architecture, extending capabilities in virtual simulation and infrastructure optimization. By leveraging digital twins, data center developers can reduce reliance on physical prototypes, making AI infrastructure planning and deployment more efficient.
Industry projections indicate global data center demand will grow from 80 GW in 2024 to around 220 GW by 2030, with AI workloads accounting for roughly 70% of this growth. The ABB-NVIDIA partnership addresses this surge by providing advanced power solutions, emphasizing the role of digitalization and simulation in modern infrastructure development.
