Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation, digitalization, and information technologies, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Shenzhen LiDA Technology Industry Co., Ltd., a specialized provider of advanced manufacturing solutions for vacuum insulated glass (VIG). The collaboration aims to accelerate the digital transformation of vacuum glass production and enhance intelligent manufacturing capabilities in high-performance, low-carbon building materials.
The partnership focuses on three key areas: digital production line upgrading, AI-driven quality optimization, and the enhancement of global manufacturing capabilities. By leveraging these initiatives, both companies aim to improve production efficiency, product consistency, and international competitiveness in the advanced materials sector.
Vacuum insulated glass, which features a near-vacuum layer between two panes of glass, offers significantly improved thermal insulation and soundproofing performance compared to traditional double glazing. As global demand for energy-efficient building materials continues to grow, VIG is emerging as a critical solution for next-generation green construction applications.
