Shanghai, June 2026 – At the 19th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy (SNEC 2026) Conference & Exhibition, Schneider Electric showcased its latest innovations and strategic partnerships, reinforcing its leadership in renewable energy and industrial automation. UL489 Certification Marks Industry First
A highlight of the exhibition was the launch of the “Comprehensive Protection – DC Protection System White Paper for Electrochemical Energy Storage”, featuring the CVS DC NE U2P DC molded-case circuit breaker. This product became the first battery protection breaker globally to achieve UL489 certification. Schneider Electric held a certification ceremony with UL Solutions (ULS) and signed a memorandum of cooperation, focusing on international certification of renewable energy products, industry standard development, and compliance for global market expansion.
